  OUR CONSTITUION
  1.  The Boston Pledge (TBP) will be chartered as a professional organization consisting of members chosen from people who are directly and/or directly interested in the grass root development of challenged regions around the globe
  2. TBP will consist of three distinct organizations:
    •  Governing body consisting of seven members who will provide overall policy direction to the organization
    •  Executive committee consisting of eleven members will be responsible to guide and execute the TBP programs within the guidelines laid down by the Governing body
    •  Working group consisting of several members including a secretariat will be responsible of specific events, functions for effective execution of TBP programs, and overall administration of TBP
  3. TBP will not have any affiliation with any political party any where in the world; it will work as independent body to meet its objectives with uncompromising dedication to excellence
  4. TBP will work with different interest groups but will not align with any single one on an exclusive basis.
  5. After the organization is stabilized in the first five years, members in the working group will be chosen by the executive committee through a rigorous selection criteria, while the members of the executive committee will be chosen by the Governing body. The members of the Governing body after an initial of seven years, will be reconstituted based on the nominations received by various members of the Governing Body, the Executive committee, the Working group and prominent citizens of the world who are directly and/or indirectly involved with philanthropic work.
  •  As TBP develops it will be open to amend the above, and add any additional guidelines so that The Boston Pledge could continually evolve its charter in increasing its effectiveness.
